The lone occupant killed when his pickup truck struck several trees along Radcliffe Street in Bristol Township early Saturday has been identified as a 41-year-old Tullytown resident.

Robert Snyder was pronounced dead shortly after his 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck went into a wooded area off 7900 block of Radcliffe Street, which is near the Tullytown border, authorities said.

The cause of the accident, which happened just before 3 a.m., remains under investigation and toxicology results are pending, Sgt. Chuck Burns said.

Many condolences from friends have been posted on Snyder’s Facebook profile in the days since the single-vehicle crash.

“Bob was a great guy with a huge heart who was always there for me,” David Boyd wrote.
