Man Dead After Weekend Crash in Bristol


A Tullytown man was killed early Saturday morning when his car struck several trees in Bristol Township.

The 41-year-old man, whose name was not released, was driving a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck east on Radcliffe Street toward Tullytown when the “vehicle left the roadway and contacted several trees that were to the left of the roadway before coming to rest,” police said in a press release.

Authorities said the man was pronounced dead at the scene just before 3 a.m. in the 7900 block of Radcliffe Street, which is near the Tullytown border. The deceased was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

Easbound Radcliffee Street between Christine Avenue and Tullytown was closed until 7 a.m. while members of the Bristol Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit conducted their investigation.

Bristol Township Fire Police, Bucks County Coroner’s Office, Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, Tullytown Fire Company and Edgely Fire Company assisted police at the scene.
