Cops Arrest Third Suspect in Levittown Trace Kidnapping Plot

A Bristol Township man was arrested tonight for his role in recruiting two other men in a kidnap ransom plot that involved taking a ย total of seven people hostage including three children, police say.

Orlando McNeil, 39 of Levittown, was arraigned in front of District Court Judge Joanne V. Kline just past 7 p.m. Monday on seven counts of kidnapping, robbery burglary,ย and associated charges.

McNeil told police, while in custody, ย he knew the male victim as a “hustler” and thought he would have “two or three stacks on him and more inside…,” court documents said.

The suspect went on to further describe that he picked up co-defendants Dasean Smith and Dennis Redding in Philadelphia Sunday night, and the trio planned to lure the victim to Glen Hollow Apartments to ย rob him, police said.

The victim refused to leave ย the trace complex so McNeil dropped ย Smith and Redding ย off there so they could rob him, the probable causeย ย affidavit said.

McNeil told police he knew nothing about any insurance money or that the two other men took the victim to a bank for ย a large sum of money, police said.

The hulking Bristol man was recently released from state prison where he served time for 2005 conviction for robbery andย aggravated assaultย in 2005 online court records state.

McNeil wasย sent to Bucks County prison in lieu of 10 percent of $1 million bail.
