This is Levittown’s Heather Heather!

By day, ย she’s a student attending Harcum Dental College and serves up the ice cream to local kids ย to pay the bills.

At ย night, especially the ones where she’s getting ready for a gig, and changes into her Heather Heather persona sheย comes to life in ย a way that’s hard to for anyone to ignore.

Our one hour discussion covered a number of topics from the her favorite beverage “Coke,” to her most annoying pet peeve, “dirty finger nails,” the passion and intensity she brings to the mic also gets you through the phone.

Currently in the process of recording her first full length independent release, titled ” Mirror of Falling Hearts”, ย Werline talked about how she’s gotten to this point with the band.

“I’ve been performing in the area for about seven years now mainly with the band, ย Seven, and had the creative urge to branch out and do my own thing. So Jeff Z., who is my uncle, ย and I started writing songs and people seem to really love the acoustic act we’ve put together. We’re still performing covers, but much of creative our energy ย now ย is invested in writing originals and its amazing the response we’ve gotten so far.”

The change, she said, was necessary because I wanted to do my own thing, and in a band situation you really can’t do that. I loved those guys in Seven, but I was looking to challenge myself, and so far it’s worked out great.

Combining the hard rock influences of Amy Lee of ย Evanescence ย Heart and Pat Benatar, with soul, her intense, yet introspective,ย styling’sย is a brand all her own that can be heard on ย tracks like ย “Spaceman” and ย “Sweeter than Summertime.”

Werline, pumped about the response to “Overcome” , aย melancholicย hip-hop ย duet track with Cruzie Cruz containing a haunting melody and ย soaring vocals, said she likes to experiment with different genre’s because she can connect to those melodies in different ways each time she performs them live.

Right now, as she and Zambino continue to write tracks for the next release and ย continue to play shows throughout the area Werline is preparing for a two weeks worth of gigs in Germany and Italy.

“I was down in Florida, visiting a friend, and was at this bar, performed, and these two bar owners from Germany and Italy approached me, and now in two weeks I’ve got gigs in both places. Excitement, you ask? Plenty of reason to be right now with so much good stuff going on.”

As Werline ย and Zambino continue to write tracks for the next release, they also continue to play shows throughout the area.
