School to Host Market With Lemonade Stand to Raise Funds to Fight Childhood Cancer

alex'sProvided by the Bristol Township School District:

In an effort to join the battle against childhood cancer, local James Buchanan Elementary School’s PTO in the Levittown section of Bristol Township will host a Flea Market with an Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the James Buchanan Elementary School field.  Rain date is May 18, 2013.  The James Buchanan Elementary School family was inspired to get involved with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation after reading about Alexandra “Alex” Scott. After finding out how easy it was to get involved, they decided to hold a lemonade stand of their own.

Vendors are welcome to purchase a space for $15, and all are encouraged to donate to Alex’s Lemonade Stand on the day of the Flea Market OR at anytime by going to: http://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/93403

The James Buchanan Elementary School’s student council will organize the Alex’s Lemonade stand.  They are excited to help eliminate childhood cancer, and make the struggle easier for the families who have a child diagnosed with cancer.  The PTO is proud to host an event that will help the children at James Buchanan and at the same time help other children. We hope the community will also support our effort by joining us on April 27 (rain date May 18).
