Escorted by local first responders and motorcyclists, Sgt. Dustin Dykstra was welcomed home to Indian Creek section of Levittown this past weekend.
Dykstra, a Pennsbury and Bucks County Technical High School graduate, touched down at Philadelphia International Airport after serving with the Army in Afghanistan on Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival at the airport, the 29-year-old proposed to Theresa Cristella, his girlfriend, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.

The escort and celebration was organized by Cristella.
Dykstra has been previously deployed with the armed forces in Afganistan, Germany, Iraq and Korea, according to A Hero’s Welcome Home.
