With the booming senior population in the area, Best Junk Removal has experienced growth in helping families of senior citizens and long-time residents who are moving or downsizing. Collipp and Naylor say they help seniors who are moving to assisted living facilities and help families who need removals after loved ones pass away.

“We try to save what we can,” Naylor says.
Collipp explains that clothing and toys that are in great condition can be donated so they have a second life.

“People are happy we don’t take their money up front,” Naylor says. “People don’t have to worry that we’re taking their money and not coming back.”
Collipp and Naylor say the business has also uncovered some interesting items during cleanouts. Among the more fascinating items, crews have found a signed lease for Trump Tower, the long-forgotten photo album of an African diplomat, a rare and original photo of Muhammad Ali, and a commemorative coin from the 2003 Rose Bowl.
The two men began working together after knowing one another through another business. Naylor and Collipp recognized a need for junk clean ups, especially among the older population.
“The company averages several dozen clean outs a month,” Collipp says.
Like many small businesses, Best Junk Removal started humbly with an older truck they purchased second-hand in August 2018; they still use it successfully, as the business continues to grow. In 2020, they’re looking to add more equipment to handle their expanding workload.
