A free drive-up document shredding event will be held this week.
Delaware Valley Brokerage Services is teaming up with Independence Blue Cross for the shredding event on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shredding event will take place at Delaware Valley Brokerage Services at 1296 Veterans Highway in Bristol.
Documents that can be shredded include old invoices, medical records, financial records, tax documents, and other paper records with personal information.
“There’s a ton of identity theft and you don’t want to end up with someone getting a hold of your ID. People can bring any documents that they want to shred,” said Dawn Myers, who works at Delaware Valley Brokerage Services.
