A home that burned in a Wednesday morning fire was the scene of a smaller, second blaze Thursday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the residence in the 30 block of Amesbury Road around 6:30 a.m. for a reported fire.
Firefighters managed to contain the blaze within five minutes of forcing entry, according to Falls Township Fire Company Chief Nate Nelson.
The Thursday morning fire was a rekindle of the Wednesday blaze, with the flames mostly concentrated inside the bathroom walls, Nelson said.

The initial fire on Wednesday caused significant damage, resulting in a roof collapse, according to officials.
Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said Wednesday’s fire was triggered by uncooled charcoal embers that had been placed in a plastic trash can near the home.

No injuries were reported in either fire.
The Falls Township Fire Company was assisted at the scene by Levittown Fire Company No. 1.
