At least two people have been charged in connection with an assault and robbery where a man was beaten by masked attackers who made off with a $150 pair of footwear, according to court papers.

Anthony French, 18, of Morrisville, and Amber Leonard, 18, of Bristol Township, have been charged with robbery, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, simple assault, and receiving stolen property. Leonard faces an additional charge of criminal use of a communication facility.
According to law enforcement, Bristol Township police officers were dispatched at 3:49 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, to the 100 block of Birch Drive in the Levittown section for a report of an altercation in progress. While police were responding, the call was upgraded to an ongoing robbery involving three masked individuals beating a man.
The suspects exited a Honda Accord, carried out the attack, and fled the area in the same vehicle, police said.

The reported victim told responding officers he was walking through the neighborhood when three people jumped out of the Honda and assaulted him, police said.
The man sustained minor injuries and had his T-shirt ripped during the encounter.
Police said the assailants fled with a pair of Yeezy Foam Runners valued at $150.

Shortly after the call, officers located and stopped a Honda matching the description of the getaway vehicle on Exit Lane in neighboring Falls Township.
Four people were inside the car, and one juvenile attempted to flee on foot but was taken into custody a short time later, police said.
Inside the vehicle, officers located three black face masks, police said.
A witness identified the sedan as the car involved in the robbery, according to authorities.

Investigators said they executed a search warrant on the Honda in June and found the stolen Yeezy shoes hidden beneath the driver’s seat.
Police said they also retrieved video footage from Leonard’s phone that showed the incident taking place.

It was determined the video had been shared with multiple people on Snapchat, police said.
Additionally, according to investigators, digital evidence uncovered text messages exchanged between two people involved shortly before the incident, discussing plans to track down the victim to “go knuckles.”
French was preliminarily arraigned in early June before District Judge Terry Hughes. He was released weeks later on nonmonetary bail after a Court of Common Pleas judge reevaluated bail.

Leonard was preliminarily arraigned earlier this week before District Judge Kevin Wagner and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
Juvenile court proceedings and records are not widely public under state law, and it is currently unknown whether the two minors located after the robbery face formal charges.
