Falls Township officials will temporarily close Quaker Penn Park this weekend for concerns of “potential illegal and dangerous activities” near the park’s boat ramp along the Delaware River.

The township announced that the park’s gate will be closed and locked from 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13, until 7:30 a.m. Sunday, June 14.
Township parks officials said the decision was made in response to the safety reports and is intended to protect park users.
Boaters and visitors are advised to be off the water and out of Quaker Penn Park by sunset on Saturday to avoid being locked inside.
