Parx Casino is marking the 16th anniversary of its College Scholarship Program by awarding $3,000 scholarships to 11 area high school graduates and children of casino employees.

The program has distributed a total of $374,827 to 169 recipients since its launch, according to casino officials.
“This program represents our deep commitment to education and community,” Ron Davis, director of diversity and community development at Parx Casino, said in a statement. “Each of these students has shown exceptional promise and determination. We are proud to support their journey and invest in a future shaped by their talent and dedication.”
This year’s scholarship recipients include Kacey Wolanski and Sierra Thomas from Bensalem High School, and Anthony Robinson Garcia from Bucks County Technical High School. Conwell-Egan Catholic High School graduates Kristin Pham and Deanna Porter also received scholarships, alongside Phatumata Donzo and Wassim Bouchenafa from Universal High School.

Additionally, four scholarships were awarded to children of Parx Casino team members: Riley Grawl, Logan McBrearty, Miley Egolf and Aashna Shah.
Casino officials said the ongoing program is designed to provide opportunity through education and help local students pursue higher education.
