

Crews responded to a crash involving a commercial vehicle Wednesday morning in the Levittown section of Middletown Township.

The wreck happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road and Nursery Avenue, authorities said.

The vehicle involved was a large truck carrying wood chips and towing a stump grinder.
Crews arrived to find that the driver had already managed to get out of the vehicle on their own and did not need to be extricated, according to the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

Firefighters at the scene aided those involved, managed fluids that spilled, and secured the scene, the department said.
Middletown Township police did not immediately release information regarding the extent of any injuries or the cause.

Drivers faced delays until crews were able to upright the vehicle and clear the wreckage from the scene.
