Police Charge Man For Driving Teens To Fight That Hospitalized One

An 18-year-old man is accused of driving a group of teenagers to a Bristol Township park for a fight that put one person in the hospital.

Bristol Township police charged the 18-year-old township man this week with aggravated assault, simple assault, corruption of minors, and disorderly conduct.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, police were alerted at 7:42 a.m. on March 11 that they were to respond to Lower Bucks Hospital.

In the emergency department, police said they located four peopleโ€”two adults and two juvenilesโ€”who reported they had been assaulted at John F. Kennedy Park on Snowden Avenue.

Police said they identified all parties involved and obtained video footage of the incident.

The video showed the 18-year-old driving a black Dodge Ram 1500 as he followed another vehicle into the recreation area’s parking lot, according to police.

The 18-year-old man and three teens then exited the truck and struck the four occupants of the first vehicle, police said.

One person suffered injuries during the altercation, police said.

The 18-year-old man was seen on video watching the juveniles from his truck fight the occupants of the first vehicle, police said.

The 18-year-old man admitted on police body-camera footage that he knew a fight would take place at the park when he was transporting the multiple juveniles there, police said.
