A 46-year-old Bristol man died Tuesday evening after a crash between his motorcycle and a car.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Kevin Cross.
Bristol Township police responded to the 4000 block of Veterans Highway (Route 413) near New Falls Road at approximately 5:58 p.m. after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident.
A 2015 Volkswagen Jetta was stopped in the center left-turn lane while traveling northbound, and Cross, who was traveling southbound on a 2001 Harley-Davidson, entered the center turn lane to bypass traffic and struck the front driver’s side corner of the Volkswagen, police said.

The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad transported Cross to Lower Bucks Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The driver of the Volkswagen remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation, according to police.

The William Penn Fire Company and Bristol Township Fire Police assisted the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and police at the scene.
