A large truck overturned on a highway onramp Sunday afternoon and caused traffic problems for drivers.

The truck tipped onto its side around noon on the ramp leading from Oxford Valley Road to Route 1 southbound. The crash happened in Lower Makefield Township, near the borders of Falls and Middletown townships.
Police and fire crews responded to the scene around noon for reports of the crash.
As of 4 p.m., three heavy-duty tow trucks remained on-site and were working to upright the overturned vehicle.
