
A victim services agency is inviting the public to gather to honor those impacted by violence and celebrate the progress of the victimsโ rights movement.

NOVA, Bucks Countyโs crime victim services organization, will host its annual Candlelight Tribute for Victims of Crime on Tuesday, April 21.
The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Core Creek Park Boat Ramp at 901 Bridgetown Pike in Middletown Township.
The evening will serve as a time of healing and awareness, featuring music, reflection, and stories of resilience from survivors.

“This candlelight vigil honors the resilience of victims and survivors and allows us to reflect on the successes organizations like NOVA have been able to achieve in the area of victimsโ rights,” said Stephanie Shantz, victim advocate coordinator. “It also is a reminder of the work that needs to be done to prevent crime and violence from happening in our community.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to view an exhibit of survivor artwork and participate in interactive art stations.

The tribute will conclude with an optional candlelit “walk of intention” to honor those affected by crime.
The event is open to the public, and no RSVP is required.
In the event of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for April 28.
