Chief Financial Officer Michael Gorski is leaving the district after joining Pennsbury last October.
The district has not provided a reason for his exit, and officials did not respond to a request for comment.
Pennsbury posted a job listing for the CFO role ahead of last week’s school board meeting. Applications were due by Thursday.

The district is seeking someone with a master’s degree, three to five years in business administration and in a school district, and knowledge of accounting software.
Public records show Gorski, who previously worked at New Jersey school districts, was under contract with Pennsbury through 2030 and was slated to earn a first-year salary of $210,000.
Gorski stepped into the role to replace former CFO Chris Berdnik, who left Pennsbury last summer to oversee finances for the smaller Palisades School District.

The business office oversees purchasing and payments, transportation, and the district print shop.
Administrators are in the middle of drafting the proposed spending plan for the 2026-2027 school year, which has to be approved before July 1.
In addition, Pennsbury is moving forward with the construction of a new high school, a project expected to require tax increases in future years.
