A 67-year-old woman will be cited for a disturbance on a SEPTA bus last Tuesday afternoon after allegations of a weapon and racial slurs.

Warrington Township police said they were dispatched to the intersection of Easton Road and Maple Avenue at approximately 2:32 p.m. after receiving reports of a disorderly passenger. A caller told dispatchers that a woman on the bus was brandishing a knife and making threats.
Witnesses at the scene told arriving officers that the woman had been shouting obscenities and racial slurs at other passengers, police said.
Police located the woman, who is a 67-year-old resident of Levittown, at a nearby Wawa.

According to police, the woman admitted to being involved in a verbal altercation but denied possessing a knife. She claimed the object reported as a knife was a pair of cuticle scissors.
Police said the woman continued to use racial slurs throughout the course of the police investigation.
