New details are being revealed in court papers connected to the Sunday homicide of a woman in Levittown.
Yujun Ren, 32, of Philadelphia, surrendered to the Middletown Township Police Department around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, according to an affidavit of probable cause reviewed by LevittownNow.com on Monday morning.

Per investigators, Ren told officers he had shot a woman outside a home on the 20 block of Outlook Lane in the Levittown section of Bristol Township.

Minutes later, Bristol Township officers responded and found Yuan Yuan Lu deceased in the driver’s seat of her white Hyundai Kona.
Police stated Lu had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators reported finding a small-caliber shell casing beneath the SUV and found a bullet hole through the partially shattered driver’s side window.

The shooting followed a sequence of events that began Saturday when Lu reported to the Philadelphia Police Department that Ren had sexually assaulted her at his home in the city earlier in the day.
Lu told officers, according to court papers, she planned to end their relationship and move her belongings while Ren was at work because she feared him and his constant possession of a gun.

Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan described a “chilling course of conduct” captured by license plate readers leading up to the killing.
License plate reader data obtained by law enforcement showed Ren’s silver Lexus trailing Lu’s vehicle through Bristol Township intersections at around 5:40 a.m. Sunday. His Lexus followed her by only two to three seconds, police said.
In an interview with detectives, Ren allegedly admitted to the shooting but claimed it was an accident.

Ren told investigators he confronted Lu while she sat in her car and drew a 9mm handgun from his waistband to “scare her” because she said “hurtful things” and took their pets. He claimed the weapon discharged during the encounter.
Ren’s aunt later turned over a Mossberg 9mm handgun to police. Records indicate Ren held a valid concealed carry permit.

“Yesterday’s tragic event is a sobering reminder of the lethal nature of domestic violence,” Khan said in a statement. “After the victim courageously reported a sexual assault … evidence showed Ren began stalking her vehicle in the early morning hours.”
Ren was arraigned late Sunday by District Judge Corryn Kronnagel on charges of criminal homicide, stalking, and possession of an instrument of crime. He is being held without bail at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
