The crash occurred at 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2025, at the Interstate 95 off-ramp to Veterans Highway (Route 413), according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
State police reported that a 34-year-old woman driving a 2016 Chevrolet Trax was traveling at a high speed when she struck the rear of a Subaru WRX stopped at a red light. The impact pushed the Subaru into a 2017 Ford Fusion.
The driver of the Subaru, a 31-year-old Levittown man, was wearing a seatbelt but sustained a head injury. He was treated at the scene by Bensalem EMS and transported to a local hospital for additional care.

Neither the driver of the Chevrolet nor the driver of the Ford reported injuries.
Troopers at the scene observed the Philadelphia woman “exhibiting unsafe driving and signs of impairment.”

State police said they determined her level of intoxication “rendered her incapable of safely operating a vehicle.”
After her arrest, troopers discovered suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia in her possession, state police said.
The woman was taken by state police to a local hospital for a blood-draw DUI test.
