

An 18-year-old woman is recovering with multiple broken bones after being struck by a vehicle while using a crosswalk on Route 13 Monday afternoon.

Bristol Borough police responded to Route 13 at 2nd Avenue at 2:35 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian struck.
Officers found the woman had been hit in the southbound lanes of the four-lane roadway, according to Chief of Police Joe Moors.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the crash, Moors told LevittownNow.com.

The young woman was treated at the scene by the Bucks County Rescue Squad before being transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia.
As of Tuesday morning, the 18-year-old woman remained in the hospital for treatment of her injuries, the chief said.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
