Company spokesperson Rachel Johnson told LevittownNow.com that while local anticipation is high after a report it might open this week, the opening is not happening right now.
“As of now, the opening is scheduled for early 2026,” Johnson said.
The new restaurant, which will operate out of a 2,540-square-foot space and include a drive-thru, was approved by the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors in July 2020.

The California-based chain, which operates more than 2,200 locations globally, is known for its signature American-Chinese dishes in a quick-service format.
The 1.6-acre site along East Lincoln Highway required Panda Express to upgrade the parking area and the existing stormwater management system.

The company is adding a sidewalk along East Lincoln Highway to improve pedestrian access to the site, which has enough space for an additional drive-thru restaurant.
The property was formerly the location of the Blue Fountain Diner, which was renamed in 2017 to honor the historical Langhorne Speedway. The speedway was a popular regional racetrack that operated from 1926 to 1971.
