The Falls Township Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating a 51-year-old man considered an endangered missing person, according to a department statement issued Friday.

James Chappell was last seen around 5 p.m. near the Motel 6 on Route 13 in Bristol Township.
Police said he is 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.
When last observed, Chappell was wearing dark gray or black sweatpants and a light gray hooded sweatshirt.

Police said there is concern for Chappell’s welfare, noting they believe he may be “engaging in self-harming behavior.”
The department is asking anyone with information that could lead to Chappell’s location to contact authorities so he can receive assistance.

Officials ask that anyone who believes Chappell’s immediate welfare is threatened call 9-1-1. All other information should be directed to the Falls Township Police Department’s non-emergency number at 215-328-8501.
