Water service has been restored to customers of the Township of Falls Authority after a major water main break.

The break was located on East Trenton Road near Tyburn Road Wednesday morning, officials informed customers.
Repair crews worked through the day and into Wednesday evening, digging up the surrounding area to access and fix the broken main.
The authority, which serves residents in parts of Falls Township, Bristol Township, and Lower Makefield Township, including the Fallsington and Fairless Hills sections, notified customers that some lingering issues might occur.

“Discolored water or air in the water may occur, but running your cold water for 10-15 minutes can help alleviate these issues,” the authority said in a statement.
The Township of Falls Authority extending its thanks to its customers for their patience while crews worked to complete the repairs.
