Jacob N. Mamolou, 41, was sentenced by Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. to two to four years behind bars. In addition to the state prison term, the judge ordered Mamolou to serve a consecutive sentence of five years of probation. Mamolou was also ordered to register as a sex offender for 15 years.

In June, Mamolou pleaded guilty to one count of child pornography.

The conviction stems from an investigation launched on Dec. 4, 2024, by the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit that focused on a user requesting suspected child sexual abuse material files.

Investigators confirmed that the computer user who requested the files had an IP address registered to a Verizon account held by Mamolou at an address on Azalea Lane in Bristol Township’s Levittown section, according to authorities.

On Jan. 22, troopers, assisted by the Bristol Township Police Department, executed a search warrant at Mamolou’s home on Azalea Lane.

Investigators found Mamolou had lived in the home for about seven years, was the only occupant, and did not share his password-protected Wi-Fi network, authorities said.

A forensic examination of 45 electronic devices seized from the home.

Investigators found roughly 12,000 media files showing child sexual abuse material, including an 8-terabyte encrypted hard drive, authorities said.

The media files showed sexual acts involving children under the age of 18, with some victims described as toddlers as young as 18 months, authorities said.

The Pennsylvania State Police were assisted by the Bristol Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.
