
Roadwork in the Levittown area will continue next week as part of PennDOT’s regional project to repave more than 200 miles of state roads.

Crews have been milling and repaving Woodbourne and Edgely roads between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Route 13 in Middletown and Bristol townships since earlier this month.

While work is mostly completed on the section of Woodbourne Road, crews will continue to work on Edgely Road with a lane closure and flaggers from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday next week.

Work will also continue on Fallsington-Tullytown Road between Low Lane and New Falls Road in Falls Township and Tullytown Borough. Additionally, crews will be on Penn Valley Road and Hood Boulevard between Old Bristol Pike and Oxford Valley Road in Bristol and Falls townships. Lane closures and flagging will be in effect at both locations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

According to PennDOT, the work includes milling, repaving, and utility work.

PennDOT is using contractors for the regional project.

Drivers are being advised to allow for extra time when traveling in the work areas as backups are expected.
All of the work is weather-dependent.
