To mark the 11th annual “Clear the Shelters” pet adoption event, Inspire Federal Credit Union is partnering with Women’s Animal Center to collect donations and sponsor an adoption fee-waived event.
Donations for the Women’s Animal Center pet food pantry will be collected at all Inspire Federal Credit Union branch locations during business hours through Sept. 4.
Needed items include dry dog and cat food, Milk-Bone dog treats and cat litter. Monetary donations can also be made online at http://weblink.donorperfect.com/InspireFCU2025.
On Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Inspire Federal Credit Union will serve as the event partner at Women’s Animal Center at 3839 Richlieu Road in Bensalem.
Thanks to the credit union’s sponsorship, all adoption fees for cats, dogs and small animals will be waived.
All shelter pets adopted from Women’s Animal Center are spayed or neutered, receive preventative and lifesaving vaccines, and are microchipped. Adopters will also receive 20% off their pet’s first annual physical exam at the Veterinary Hospital.
The event will feature complimentary refreshments, giveaways for adopters, and coloring activities for children.
Since 2015, the national Clear the Shelters program has led to close to 1.2 million pet adoptions and raised millions for groups.
