Firefighters were dispatched to a home on Garrison Court in Tarrytown Estates around 6 p.m. Monday for a report of a blaze in a garage, Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry told LevittownNow.com.
Once they pulled up to the scene, Farry said, crews found smoke showing from the garage.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze and had it under control within 10 minutes, the chief said.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Middletown Township Fire Marshal’s Office.
Farry reminded residents to leave room for fire trucks when parking on the street and to never block a fire hydrant.
The Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company was assisted by the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Penndel Fire Company and William Penn Fire Company.
