UPDATE: Search For Alligator In Magnolia Lake Ends With Safe Capture
The Bristol Township Police Department is advising residents to use caution in and around Magnolia Lake after a small alligator was reported swimming in the area.
Police said in a statement Thursday afternoon that they have notified state wildlife officials, who will be “addressing this situation.”

The department is asking people to avoid using the creek until the reptile is caught.
Alligators are not native to Pennsylvania, but they do occasionally end up in waterways. They are most often pets that have either escaped or been released by their owners.
