Falls Township police said they responded to the Wawa on West Trenton Avenue in the Morrisville section of Falls Township shortly before 5 p.m. on June 29 for a report of an armed subject. Dispatchers informed officers that a woman with purple hair and driving a white Acura sedan had pulled a gun on a complainant, who then fled the scene. They had a partial plate number for the vehicle.

Officers arrived and located a white 2021 Acura ILX backed into a parking space and occupied by Yantz, police said.

Officers ordered Yantz out of the vehicle, and she complied, according to court papers.

When asked if she had any weapons, Yantz stated a firearm was in the vehicle and she possessed a carry license, police said.

Officers detained Yantz, placed her in handcuffs, and during a pat-down, found a glass smoking device, police said.

From outside the Acura, which was still running with the driver’s door open, officers observed a plastic capsule, which is commonly used to hold crack cocaine, in the inside pocket of the driver’s door, police said.

The vehicle was then secured and towed to the police impound lot.

The caller told police he had pulled his truck and landscaping trailer near the air pump at the Wawa and momentarily blocked Yantz, who was parked nearby. The man said Yantz became confrontational, stated, “I got something for you.” She then reached into her driver’s door, pulled out a handgun, and pointed it at him, police said.

The man’s co-worker and passenger alerted him to the gun, and he “put the truck in drive and fled,” police said.

Investigators said the man described the firearm as a black Glock-style handgun.

A database check revealed Yantz has three registered firearms, including a Glock 45, police said.

On Wednesday, July 2, police executed a search warrant on the Acura that Yantz had been in, police said.

Inside the driverโ€™s interior door handle, officers found two pink plastic capsules containing suspected crack cocaine and a Glock G45 9mm handgun and a magazine with ten 9mm rounds were located in the glove box, police said.

On the front passenger floorboard, police discovered a blue pill bottle containing two plastic-wrapped pieces of suspected crack cocaine, along with another pink plastic capsule containing suspected crack cocaine. A rainbow pouch on the front passenger seat contained a glass smoking device with residue, tweezers, and copper cords, police said.

Law enforcement wrote in court papers that the Glock found in the car matched the serial number of a handgun registered to Yantz.

According to court records, Yantz was issued a summons for the charges in the case this week.
