The Bucks County Parks and Recreation Department said in an update this week that the source of the leak has been narrowed down to the pool’s pipes and is not located in the shell or liner.
“That’s a relief in some ways, but we’re still working closely with county staff to pinpoint the exact pipe and get it fixed as soon as we can,’ the department posted on social media.
The pool’s closure has extended into the summer and raisied concerns among residents who purchased memberships.

Recently, the department has assured members that fees “will be adjusted to fairly reflect pool availability once we are able to reopen.”
“We truly know how much this pool means to the community, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure it’s safe, sound, and swim-ready as soon as possible,” the post continued.

The Oxford Valley Pool is one of the few government-operated pools in Bucks County.
The pool on Hood Boulevard features a main pool with a maximum depth of 4 feet, 3 inches and a small wading pool that is 1 foot, 6 inches deep.
As the pool has been closed, county officials thanked the public for their patience.
