The Tullytown Police Department has created an account with CrimeWatch, an online platform that works with police to enhance community engagement and combating crime, the department said in a statement.

The department’s new CrimeWatch website, TullytownPD.org, will provide the public with crime and public safety information for the local area, according to Chief Nate Aldsworth.

“We are excited to launch this new platform, which we believe will be an invaluable resource for our community,” the chief said. “Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for people to stay informed and to play an active role in preventing crime in our area. We believe that this website will help us to achieve that goal.”

The website allows residents to report crimes, submit tips, and find information about recent incidents. It also offers features such as crime mapping, alerts and community event listings.

The platform was developed in partnership with CrimeWatch Technologies, which specializes in creating tools for law enforcement agencies and has partnered with nearly 300 agencies nationwide. A number of Bucks County law enforcement agencies are already on the platform, including Levittown-area police, the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office, and Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

The department also told residents to use the platform for reporting crimes, registering cameras and providing tips to stay informed about public safety concerns.
