Troopers Chase Driver Into NJ

Pennsylvania State Police pursued a driver through Bristol Township last week after an attempted traffic stop on I-95 northbound.

The driver, a 38-year-old Philadelphia woman, was arrested the following day, state police said.

Troopers attempted to stop the woman’s vehicle around 10:30 a.m. last Tuesday in Bensalem Township.

The vehicle failed to stop as a trooper followed, state police said.

The vehicle fled into Bristol Township and then onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike before entering New Jersey, state police said.

Troopers said they terminated the pursuit due to safety concerns.

The driver will face charges.
