Armed Forces Muster Set For Bristol Twp.

Salute 2 Service and the Bucks County Housing Group will host the fifth annual Armed Forces Muster this weekend.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bristol Township Amphitheater along Bath Road. The event will proceed rain or shine.

The free outdoor event will honor veterans, connect families, and foster community spirit, organizers said.

This year’s muster will celebrate the contributions of women in the armed forces. Brig. Gen. (PA) Maureen Weigl will serve as the keynote speaker.

“It’s crucial that we recognize the vital and often underacknowledged contributions of our women veterans,” Weigl said. “Their service and sacrifice have been integral to the strength and success of our armed forces, and I am honored to be a part of an event that shines a light on their dedication.”

The event will feature a variety of activities, food, and opportunities for camaraderie.

Veterans and their families, as well as community members, can also access vital resources and services.

Rodney Wyatt, founder and director of nonprofit Salute 2 Service, expressed appreciation for the event’s supporters.

“The Armed Forces Muster wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, donors, dedicated vendors, and the tireless efforts of our volunteers,” Wyatt said. “Their commitment to our veterans and community is truly inspiring, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership in making this event a success year after year.”

The Bristol Township Municipal Grounds and Amphitheater are located at 2501 Bath Road.
