Neshaminy School Board Approves Administrative Changes

The Neshaminy School Board has approved several administrative changes within the district.

Sinead Doherty, currently the principal of Joseph Ferderbar Elementary School, will become the new principal at Core Creek Elementary School. She replaces Brian Kern, who is retiring at the end of the current school year.

Kristen McCreary will take over as principal at Joseph Ferderbar Elementary School on July 1. McCreary is currently an assistant principal at Maple Point Middle School and previously served as the coordinator of student affairs at Tawanka Elementary School.

Caryn Cozza, the current coordinator of student affairs at Herbert Hoover Elementary School, will become an assistant principal at Maple Point Middle School.

James Kelly will join Carl Sandburg Middle School as an assistant principal, also effective July 1. Kelly has previously served in acting assistant principal roles and as a coordinator of student affairs. He will replace Derek Albarran, who was recently appointed principal at Sandburg Middle School.
