Falls Twp. Ends Maintenance Of Tot Lot

Falls Township will no longer maintain the tot lot playground at Valley Day School, officials announced.

For many years, the township provided regular trash pickup, repairs, and maintenance of the playground equipment. However, because the tot lot is located on private property not owned by the township, the practice will cease, the Falls Township Parks and Recreation Department posted on Facebook.

Recently, residents raised questions about the status of the small tot lot after changes were noticed.

Township officials apologized for any inconvenience and directed residents to nearby alternatives.

Penns Grant Park is located nearby at 108 Penns Grant Drive and Children’s Corner Park is located at 96 to 98 Rice Drive. Both are available for public use.

Falls Township runs 13 parks across the municipality.
