The print edition appears to have stopped at the end of 2024, and much of the paper’s mentions has been removed from the website it shared with the still-operating Northeast (Philadelphia) Times and South Philly Review.
The publication is listed on its website as being “out of print.”
The publication is owned by Donnelly Media, which was formerly known as Newspaper Media Group. The company did not respond to a request for comment.

The paper promised “community-oriented stories delivered right to your doorstep.”
The Lower Bucks Times had previously operated as the Midweek Wire and underwent staff downsizing in the late-2010s.

New Jersey-based Donnelly.Media’s acquisition of Broad Street Media in 2017 brought the Lower Bucks Times, along with Packet Media and Sun Community Newspapers in New Jersey, under its umbrella.
The end of printing for the Lower Bucks Times reflects a broader trend of declining print readership and a reduction in the number of journalists working in Bucks County. Several weekly newspapers in the region have shuttered in recent years.

Remaining print news outlets include the locally owned Bucks County Herald, which publishes weekly, and the Bucks County Courier Times and Doylestown Intelligencer, part of the Gannett chain, which print multiple days per week.
