The California-based fast food chain will construct a 2,540-square-foot outlet with a drive-thru on the site, along with space for an additional drive-thru restaurant.

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors approved the plan in July 2020.
The approve plan includes significant upgrades to the parking area and stormwater management system on the 1.6-acre property. In addition, Panda Express will add a sidewalk along East Lincoln Highway to improve pedestrian access.

Panda Express, which is known for its American-Chinese cuisine, operates over 2,200 locations globally.
The diner was originally named the Blue Fountain Diner and underwent a name change in 2017 to honor the former Langhorne Speedway, a popular racetrack from 1926 to 1971.
