After months of anticipation, a new Brazilian steakhouse opened over the weekend in Middletown Township.

Leblon Steak features an all-you-can-eat rodizio service and officially opened its doors in the space formerly occupied by Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood Boil and Bar at the corner of East Lincoln Highway and Veterans Highway (Route 413).

The restaurant was gutted and underwent extensive renovations to transform the building into a modern dining location. The interior boasts a spacious layout with seating for more than 200 patrons, a salad and hot bar, and a well-appointed bar area.
The new eatery is a venture by Wellington Brito, a seasoned restaurateur, who first introduced Leblon Steak in northern New Jersey three years ago, and his partners Susana Aguero and Tyler Hines, who are both local residents.

The new Leblon Steak looks to replicate the dynamic atmosphere of Brazil’s food scene.
Brito explained that the goal is to give customers a premium steakhouse experience that isn’t common outside of Brazil.

“We were looking for a location for several years before our realtor found this one,” Hines said. “It was what we wanted.”

Rodizio, the restaurant’s centerpiece dining style, offers diners an array of grilled meats served directly from skewers to their plates. The variety includes chicken, beef, pork, and lamb that is complemented by a salad bar and a selection of hot dishes such as rice, beans, stew, and mashed potatoes.

The bar at Leblon Steak adds to the dining experience with a focus on specialty drinks, such as caipirinhas and margaritas, along with other beverage options including cocktails, wine, and beer.

Leblon Steak is designed to accommodate a variety of gatherings, from business meetings to family celebrations like birthdays and graduations, said Hines and Aguero.

Adding a touch of authenticity to the Brazilian theme, a replica of the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue that overlooks Rio de Janeiro stands outside the restaurant, welcoming diners.

The opening weekend was busy, and the owners anticipate that the unique dining experience offered at Leblon Steak will attract patrons from across Lower Bucks County and beyond.
“We have something for everyone,” Brito said.
