Water & Sewer Authority Addresses Duplicate Billing Error

The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority has announced a recent error that resulted in the distribution of duplicate bills to some of its customers.

According to the authority, the mishap was caused by the company responsible for printing the bills.

“This was an error on the part of our bill printing company,” according to an authority statement.

Customers who have received multiple copies of their bill are advised to pay only one.

“We apologize for any inconvenience, and we are taking steps to make sure this does not happen again in the future,” the authority said.

The error will not lead to any additional charges for the impacted customers, the authority confirmed in a statement.

The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority provides services to residents in Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery counties. In the Levittown area, the authority serves retail customers in parts of Middletown Township and all of Langhorne Borough.
