According to unofficial results, Davis earned 65 percent of the vote and Boyd got 34.7 percent.

The district, which includes Bristol Township and Bristol Borough, has been represented by Davis since 2010.

Davis, a lifelong Democrat from the Croydon section of Bristol Township, lives with her husband, Jim, a local small business owner, and their three children. Throughout her tenure, Davis has consistently secured her seat in every election. In 2018, she narrowly lost a bid for the state senate.

Boyd, who ran as a “Christian conservative candidate,” aimed to shift the district’s representation in favor of the Republicans.
