A robbery at a Sunoco gas station in Bristol Borough is under investigation after a man was assaulted and robbed Friday, police said.

The robbery occurred around 8:47 p.m. at the station located at the intersection of Route 13 and Bath Street in the borough, police said.
According to police, the suspect was described as a large, dark-skinned male, approximately 5-foot-10, bald with a goatee, wearing a white T-shirt, and khaki 511-type pants.
The suspect confronted the victim, punched the victim, and dragged him to the ground. He then forcibly ripped the victim’s pants pocket before fleeing the scene, police said.

The suspect was last seen entering a small, newer model silver or gray vehicle, possibly a Honda or Kia, and was observed heading south on Route 13.
