The teen was preliminarily arraigned on charges including robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, possession of a weapon, and related offenses last week before District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr.
The boy, whose name has been withheld due to his age, was released on bail after a family member posted 10 percent of the $50,000 set by the district judge.
The alleged robbery occurred on August 12 at the intersection of Otter and Maple streets in Bristol Borough, police said.

A person reported being robbed at gunpoint by a suspect who got out of a black sedan and threatened him with a handgun, demanding his bicycle, police said.
The bicyclist initially resisted but surrendered the bicycle after the suspect made a threat and forcibly took it before riding off, police said.

Investigators said they used posts on Instagram and Snapchat where the stolen bicycle was advertised for sale.
The social media accounts were traced back to the suspect, identified as a student at Neshaminy High School, police said.
Police recovered the bicycle from the buyer’s residence in Cobalt Ridge neighborhood, with cooperation from the buyer’s mother, authorities said.

During interviews with minors involved in the purchase, one admitted to buying the bike directly from the 17-year-old boy, police said.
