Bristol Township Council last week approved the purchase of a small plot of land next to Magnolia Park for $210,000.
The move will make the park bigger and stop any unwanted building on the site at the corner of Levittown Parkway and Magnolia Turn, Township Manager Randee Mazur said.
“It’s a small site right next to one of our parks,” Mazur said.

“We were concerned about what might be built there if we didn’t step in,” she added.
The township reached out to the owner of the land after hearing about a request to rezone the land, the township manager said.

The township had the property appraised and made an offer based on that value.
After some back-and-forth, they settled on $210,000, Mazur said.
As part of the deal, the seller will pay for all the legal and title cost
