The PAEA annually recognizes school districts that highlight the significance of visual arts in education through rigorous, inclusive, and accessible programs.
For Neshaminy, this marks the for the fifth consecutive year they have received the honor.
According to the association, Neshaminy and Pennsbury have demonstrated a consistent commitment to maintaining high standards in its arts education to ensure that the programs are available to all students across all grades, and are supported by qualified and certified art teachers.

In a Neshaminy newsletter, school officials expressed their pride and gratitude towards the faculty and students.

“We are delighted to receive this award as part of the Neshaminy community,” said Dr. Stacy Potter, instructional coach and lead art teacher for Neshaminy. “The district is very fortunate and thankful for our K-12 Art Department to foster such talented young artists. The bonds that are formed between the art instructors and their students celebrates the importance of building trust to reach potentials that may not have seemed achievable. We are definitely Neshaminy proud!”
The PAEA highlighted that the Neshaminy School District’s approach goes beyond mere participation in the arts.
The group pointed to the district’s education program that offers extensive courses and activities across various subjects including sciences, humanities, and technical education from kindergarten through 12th grade.
