UPDATE: Fire Marshal Continues Investigating Levittown House Fire
A house on Silverspruce Road in the Levittown section of Middletown Township was heavily damaged by fire on Saturday evening.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene around 7:30 p.m. after reports of a blaze.

As they arrived, flames and a column of smoke were visible from as far away as Veterans Highway.
By 8:15 p.m., crews had the fire mostly under control.
At least three dogs were rescued from the house, police said.

Nearby residents gathered to watch as firefighters worked to extinguish the remaining hot spots.
