At 3:30 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police, the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad, and Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company responded to the off-ramp from northbound Route 1 to eastbound I-295 for a report of a crash.
Responding crews found a 26-foot-long box truck overturned on the ramp, according to Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry.

The truck was carrying non-hazardous items and posed no threat, the chief said.

The driver and his dog, who were traveling in the cab, were out of the truck, Farry said.
The driver and dog both refused transportation by an ambulance, and appeared not to have suffered life-threatening injuries, Farry said.

The ramp was closed for several hours until a large tow truck could upright and remove the truck.
