Gerald Lee Roberts, 61, was found guilty of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age following a waiver trial presided over by Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Stephen Corr, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
Sentencing for Roberts is scheduled for November 22.
During the trial, the victim testified that she was sexually assaulted by Roberts multiple times from the age of 9 to 12, according to authorities.

The sexual assaults occurred at various locations including a Bristol Township home, Roberts’ workplace, and his prior residence in Philadelphia, officials said.
The girl was under Roberts’ care when the assaults happened, authorities said.
According to Bristol Township police, a detective took part in forensic interviews with a 13-year-old girl at the Bucks County Childrenโs Advocacy Center last year. The result of the interviews led to the charges being filed.
