During an earnings call in February, Dennyโ€™s CFO Robert Verostek revealed that the company had closed 57 locations in 2023, with more closures expected this year. Verostek blamed soaring operating costs as a reason for the closures, but also said the company expects to open 30 new restaurants this year.
